Creative New Zealand is exploring options around the establishment of a Biennale Foundation to help ensure that New Zealand can continue to be officially represented at the prestigious Venice Biennale.

"A permanent New Zealand presence at Venice has widespread support among artists and arts patrons. But that is a huge commitment, and we will need to work together to make it happen," said Creative New Zealand Chair, Alastair Carruthers.

Creative New Zealand is currently discussing options with potential parties that could partner with us in creating a Biennale Foundation.
